ABOUT ZMATRIX
Rethinking OS security from the ground up
ZMatrix Labs is building the next generation of operating system security—where protection is enforced by hardware, not hoped for by software.
OUR MISSION
Traditional security operates on detection and response. Attackers breach systems, dwell undetected, and exfiltrate data before defenders can react. This model is fundamentally broken.
ZMatrix takes a different approach: we make entire classes of attacks structurally impossible. By enforcing security at the hardware layer—below the kernel, below all software—we eliminate the gap between compromise and detection. There is no gap. There is no compromise.
Our microvisor architecture enforces immutable policies, hardware-backed isolation, and verifiable boot chains. Security isn't a feature—it's the foundation.
Our principles
Core beliefs that guide our research, engineering, and product development.
Detecting attacks after they happen is too late. We architect systems where attacks cannot originate in the first place. Hardware enforcement, not software hope.
Security properties should be mathematically proven, not empirically tested. We use formal methods and theorem provers to guarantee correctness.
A minimal trusted computing base is easier to audit, verify, and trust. We build only what's necessary and prove every line correct.
Security through obscurity doesn't work. We publish our research, share our findings, and collaborate with the academic community to advance the field.
Our journey
From research concept to production-ready microvisor.
Initial research into hardware-assisted isolation, formal verification methods, and microvisor architecture. First proofs of concept.
First working prototype on Linux. Policy compiler implementation, TPM integration, and initial performance benchmarks.
Public research preview release. Published whitepaper, formal proofs, and performance evaluation results.
Commercial licensing, enterprise support, and production deployments across critical infrastructure.
Built by experts
Our team combines decades of experience in systems security, formal methods, and operating system internals.
